On January 8, 2016, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on January 8 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 202.20, up 0.20 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 203.55, up 0.32 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 22.94 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 177.72), up 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 54.08 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday;

Mutton 46.13 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Eggs 8.11 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.89 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.11 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 226.58), down 0.7% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 4.99 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday;

The average price of crucian carp was 14.31 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.05 yuan/kg, up 1.6% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.25 yuan/kg, up 3.3% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 29.20 yuan/kg, up 1.1% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale market under key monitoring, the top five in price increase compared with yesterday were: Kyoho grapes, Chinese cabbage, silver carp, potatoes and pineapple, with increases of 3.8%, 3.3%, 3.3%, 2.9% and 2.6% respectively; the top five in price decrease were: lettuce, rapeseed, Chinese chives, yardlong beans and cucumber, with decreases of 3.7%, 2.9%, 2.6%, 1.5% and 1.5% respectively.
