On July 29, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on July 29 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 205.68, down 1.49 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 207.67, down 1.73 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 18.76 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 165.79), down 0.5% from yesterday;

Beef 53.62 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Mutton 54.72 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.13 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.43 yuan/kg, down 1.8% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.34 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 188.77), down 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.43 yuan/kg, down 1.8% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.52 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday;

Common carp 11.96 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.94 yuan/kg, down 2.1% from yesterday;

Large hairtail 26.98 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: cucumber, onion, spinach, oyster mushroom and watermelon, with increases of 6.6%, 3.3%, 3.0%, 2.6% and 1.2% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pumpkin, celery, zucchini, Chinese cabbage and yardlong bean, with decreases of 4.1%, 3.6%, 3.4%, 3.2% and 3.2% respectively.
