How to sprout Cymbidium goeringii

Prepare the sprouting solution: take coconut milk (immature is better) or yeast fermentation liquid or banana pulp juice, add water and stir, let it settle slightly, then take the liquid and put it into a dropper for later use.

Take theCymbidium goeringiipseudobulbs in the pot and expose them, trying not to affect the roots so as to avoid impacting growth, then drip the sprouting solution onto the pseudobulbs, not too much at a time, repeating several times.

From old pseudobulbs we generally only need their new shoots, especially for new mutated varieties; old pseudobulbs sometimes bring surprises because their mutation probability is relatively high. When sprouting, cut the roots and leaves, leaving only the pseudobulb, then use a syringe to shallowly inject the sprouting solution into the old pseudobulb without damaging the growth eyes, and finally soak it in the sprouting solution.

If you have collected some dragon roots on the mountain and want to cultivate them so they grow into plants, you can also use the sprouting method. The specific method is: take some fertile humus, spread it on a sandy substrate, place the dragon roots on the humus, cover with moss or thick fallen leaves, and sprinkle water to keep it moist. After a few days, push aside the upper layer, spray with the sprouting solution, then restore it as before. You can also spray directly, but you must then spray once more with clean water. As long as it is moist, the dragon roots can grow rapidly within it and send up sprouts. Cut off the dragon roots in time and you can continue cultivating them, which is very suitable for propagating excellent varieties.
