According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” on July 31 was 204.93, down 1.33 points from yesterday, of which the “Shopping Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 206.67, down 1.61 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 19.02 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 166.66), up 0.6% from yesterday;

Beef 54.12 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday;

Mutton 54.93 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.18 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.73 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.34 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 185.65), down 1.5% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.44 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.76 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.27 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.03 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.41 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, compared with yesterday, the top five price increases were: pineapple, Kyoho grape, banana, pumpkin and spinach, with increases of 3.4%, 3.3%, 2.1%, 1.8% and 1.1% respectively; the top five price decreases were: celery, Chinese cabbage, Chinese chives, oyster mushroom and Yali pear, with decreases of 6.3%, 4.9%, 4.8%, 4.7% and 3.8% respectively.
