How do you correct the leaf position of a clivia?

The specific method for correcting clivia leaves is to wrap the leaf that leans out to one side with aluminum foil and secure it with a paper clip. Because of phototropism, the leaf will naturally twist, and new leaves will quickly return to their proper position, while old leaves are relatively slower. When doing this, note: when correcting new leaves, remove the wrapping once the leaf is about to return to its proper position, otherwise it may easily lean to the other side.

During growth, some leaves stand well while others are slightly worse, causing uneven spacing between leaves and affecting appearance. When this happens, you can bend thick enameled wire into an arc and fit it over the corresponding part of the leaf, so the leaf stands relatively upright and the spacing is adjusted. The two ends of the enameled wire should be treated to avoid pricking the leaf. After a period of time, the leaf will basically grow at this angle and take shape. In addition, because some new leaves grow too fast and their surfaces are uneven, you can also use the method of clamping them with cardboard to make the leaf surface flat.
