On August 15, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on August 15 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 207.81, down 0.53 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 210.31, down 0.65 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 20.02 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 170.68), up 1.6% from yesterday;

Beef 53.83 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton 54.96 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.59 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.19 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.52 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 194.96), up 0.9% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 5.89 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 15.11 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.46 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.09 yuan/kg, up 1.9% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.53 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: pumpkin, cauliflower, celtuce, onion, and white radish, with increases of 5.9%, 5.4%, 4.9%, 3.6%, and 3.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pineapple, eggplant, watermelon, winter melon, and carrot, with decreases of 4.4%, 4.0%, 3.7%, 3.3%, and 2.6% respectively.
