Appreciation and Commentary on Panda and Tiger Stamen Panda and Tiger Stamen
Using two photos of Panda and Tiger Stamen from the internet, I offer appreciation and commentary on the flowers shown in the photos. If anything is inappropriate, I respectfully ask for your guidance.
Panda and Tiger Stamen are currently popular among orchid enthusiasts and are representatives of the inner-lip butterfly typeorchidsand are both top-grade fine flowers. Viewed from multiple angles and aspects, each has its own characteristics and highlights.
1 . Degree of butterfly transformation: Both Panda and Tiger Stamen have both petals fully transformed into a lip.
2 . Color of the two petals: Both Panda and Tiger Stamen have red spots on a white background. By comparison, Tiger Stamen has more, wider, and more vivid red spots.
3 . Shape of the two petals: Panda's two petals are broad and large with rounded tips, forming an oval shape. Tiger Stamen's two petals are somewhat more pointed, with rounded tips forming a triangular shape. The curled and rolled shape of the two petals of Panda and Tiger Stamen is basically the same.
4 . Lip       shape: Panda has a large round lip that curls and rolls; Tiger Stamen has a long spread lip that curls and rolls.
5 . Center form: After Panda's two petals are matched with the lip, the center forms a round shape, presenting a rounded, broad, dignified, and beautiful form. After Tiger Stamen's two petals are matched with the lip, the center forms a triangular shape, dignified and beautiful, but without rounded breadth.
6 . Outer       petals: Although Panda's outer petals are bamboo-leaf petals, they show a contracted root and flared corner, slightly presenting a cupped and embracing posture, with a graceful curved beauty. Tiger Stamen also has bamboo-leaf petals, but lacks the contracted root, flared corner, and cupped embracing posture.
7 . Entire       flower: Panda's center is rounded and broad, dignified and beautiful, and its outer petals are gracefully curved. The center and outer petals are very harmonious, mutually complementary, and greatly enhance each other, giving Panda both grandeur and an elegant, spirited quality. Tiger Stamen gives people an elegant and spirited quality.
8 . Flower       stem: Panda's flower stalk is not tall, and the flower does not rise above the leaves. Tiger Stamen's flower stalk is tall, and the flower rises above the leaves, appearing imposing.
9 . Flower       retention: It is not known how Panda's flower retention is. Tiger Stamen's flower retention has been tested.
      10. Flower      performance: Panda's descent from the mountains and reblooming have both been local. Whether it can produce good form when taken elsewhere and whether its performance is stable remain to be tested. Tiger Stamen has stable performance no matter where it is and can produce good form.
Through the above comparison, the respective characteristics and highlights of Panda and Tiger Stamen are basically clear. Whether Panda is better or Tiger Stamen is better still depends on the preference of the appreciator. Let us all still discuss and judge.
