In 2014 the Ministry of Agriculture completed the new layout of rural practical talent training bases

This website news  On the morning of September 1, the Ministry of Agriculture held an unveiling ceremony for a rural practical talent training base in Fenghuang Village, Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province. Zeng Yichun, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Director of the Department of Personnel and Labor, attended the unveiling ceremony and presented Fenghuang Village with an agricultural science and technology mobile service vehicle and training equipment.

According to the work arrangement at the beginning of the year, in 2014 the Ministry of Agriculture was to lay out 7 new rural practical talent training bases. Previously, unveiling ceremonies had already been held successively for 6 training bases, including Dayingjie Village in Yunnan, Laojie Village in Hunan, Zhoutaizi Village in Hebei, Miaojia Village in Zhejiang, Qianjin Village in Gansu, and Hetaoba Village in Guizhou. The unveiling and operation of the Fenghuang Village training base marked the successful completion of the 2014 training base layout task. Next, the Ministry of Agriculture will, according to the needs of building the ranks of rural practical talent leaders, serve the development of modern agriculture and the building of a new countryside, continuously increase its work efforts, and, in light of local realities, gradually build 1-2 rural practical talent training bases in each province (autonomous region, municipality).

At present, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture are relying on these 20 training bases to focus on this year's central “three rural issues” work deployment and the requirements for building rural grassroots organizations, organizing 6 themes including large grain-producing households, family farms, farmers' cooperatives, college student village official entrepreneurship, rural informatization, and beautiful countryside, arranging general courses on agricultural product quality and safety and courses aimed at promoting socialist core values and the spirit of farmers, and vigorously carrying out demonstration training for rural practical talent leaders. Throughout the year, 117 demonstration training classes for rural practical talent leaders and college student village officials will be held, training 11,600 leaders of various types.
