What is the Xianju Divine Lotus? Introduction to Xianju's distinctive lotus variety

Xianju Divine Lotus   This flower was dug up in 2004 by Cao Runhuo, a migrant from Liantou Village (Xia'an Reservoir) in Hengxi, Xianju, on the main mountain of Niutou Village. At the time, no one knew what kind of plant it was and it was taken only for its crystal-claw leaf form, until 2011 when it bloomed as a lotus-petal flower.

This year it bloomed again, as a true-standard lotus-petal flower. It was provided to local orchid enthusiast Fu Bingchuan for appreciation, but he liked it so much that he immediately bought and propagated it. Because the variety is good and it came down from the mountains locally in Xianju without a name, it was named Xianju Divine Lotus for orchid enthusiasts to admire.
