Website news On September 5, the Moringa Engineering Technology Research Center and the Science and Technology Cooperation Demonstration Base of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences were unveiled and established at the Institute of Tropical Crop Genetic Resources. These two science and technology platforms will rely on the Institute of Tropical Crop Genetic Resources of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and Hainan Zhongfa Moringa Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. to jointly tackle key moringa technologies and develop a series of moringa products.
After the unveiling, the Institute of Tropical Crop Genetic Resources of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and Hainan Zhongfa Moringa Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. will cooperate in jointly building a moringa germplasm conservation and innovation base and a moringa product research and development base, study moringa germplasm resource evaluation, variety improvement, and key cultivation techniques, focus on developing series of functional products such as moringa hygiene and care products, skincare products, and health products, and accelerate the industrialization process of moringa.
President Wang Qinghuang said that moringa is a globally recognized tropical economic crop with high nutritional value, high medicinal value, high economic value, and high ecological value.
