On September 24, 2014, the "National Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on September 24 the “National Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index” was 205.39, down 0.19 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 207.26, down 0.31 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural product wholesale markets was 20.20 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 173.87), up 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 54.31 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 55.12 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 11.10 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.70 yuan/kg, flat from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.72 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 197.69), up 0.5% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.70 yuan/kg, up 1.8% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 15.26 yuan/kg, up 2.1% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.60 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.18 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.72 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: Kyoho grapes, watermelon, lettuce, onion, and tomato, with increases of 4.6%, 4.1%, 3.8%, 3.7% and 3.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: zucchini, bighead carp, oyster mushroom, large yellow croaker, and spinach, with decreases of 4.3%, 3.4%, 2.0%, 1.7% and 1.4% respectively.
