On September 30, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on September 30 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 203.93, down 0.36 points from yesterday. Among this, the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 205.50, down 0.36 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 20.05 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 173.49), down 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 54.28 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 55.40 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.76 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.57 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.62 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 193.12), down 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 5.51 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.80 yuan/kg, down 2.3% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.39 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.25 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.81 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties key monitored at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five by price increase compared with yesterday were: Ya pear, watermelon, white radish, carrot and banana, with increases of 3.7%, 2.6%, 2.3%, 2.2% and 2.1% respectively; the top five by price decrease were: winter melon, pineapple, cucumber, cabbage and crucian carp, with decreases of 5.7%, 4.6%, 3.0%, 2.8% and 2.3% respectively.
