Agricultural information services hold unlimited business opportunities
In August this year, Li Beilei, who returned from studying in Japan, became a part-time information officer at the information station in Juqiao Village, Juqiao Town, Xun County, Hebi City, Henan Province. Holding a high academic degree and doing this kind of job, this big boy has his own plans: on one hand, he "wants to get grounded," and on the other hand, it is "to make a bucket of gold."
Xun County has more than 150 village-level information stations. The Juqiao Village information station is the central station of Juqiao Town, radiating to 6 surrounding village-level stations, and currently carries out agricultural information consulting, online buying and selling transactions, convenient living services and other business. In addition, it is also responsible for managing the training, assessment, allocation and related work of 6 village-level information stations; supervising the agricultural materials ordering work of each village-level information station and promptly summarizing orders and product delivery.
Providing farmers with various types of agricultural information consulting services is one of Li Beilei's daily tasks. Through his demonstrations and guidance, farmers can use touch-screen computers and mobile phone APP clients to look up policies that strengthen agriculture and benefit farmers, and learn about agricultural production techniques. In addition, farmers can also promptly solve planting and breeding problems through the 12316 expert seat set up at the information station.
Online buying and selling transactions are a particularly dynamic business of the information station. Li Beilei is responsible for the work of the "Aobo Agricultural Order Planting Service Center." This year, his team signed a 20,000-mu wheat planting order repurchase agreement with a company, and is preparing to carry out order planting of "Xinmai 26" with a local cooperative and other operating entities. The purchase price of order wheat is 0.1 yuan per jin higher than the market price, and online group buying of agricultural materials also enjoys low prices. Calculating it out, 20,000 mu of wheat can save 200,000 yuan in fertilizer costs and 100,000 yuan in seed costs.
The information station provides logistics and delivery services for farmers' online shopping, delivering goods directly to farmers' doorsteps. According to Li Beilei's vision, as logistics demand expands in the future, the information station can also hang up a "Juqiao Town Logistics Distribution Point" sign and cooperate directly with large logistics companies. In this regard, he also hopes that the operating company can negotiate with several major merchants. If goods can be obtained directly from major merchants, the scope of business will be broader, and the path of information services will be wider.
Li Beilei has also discovered business opportunities in the information station's convenient services business. Next, the information station will provide farmers with micro-loan services. Li Beilei said that if the operating company reaches an agreement with Hebi Bank, with the operating company providing a guarantee, the bank can provide farmers with order agriculture loans of 30,000 to 100,000 yuan. The information station will "run errands" for farmers, and farmers will buy agricultural materials online through the information station. In this way, farmers are willing to engage in order agriculture without having to put up their own capital, and can earn "worry-free" money.
