In 2013, leisure agriculture received 900 million tourist visits

A reporter learned at the national leisure agriculture experience exchange conference held in Nanjing: At present, both the number of visitors received by various types of leisure agriculture in China and their operating income have maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 15%. In the first half of 2014 alone, leisure agriculture nationwide had already received 500 million tourist visits, and operating revenue exceeded 150 billion yuan. Leisure agriculture has become a new growth point for the economy. By the end of 2013, there were more than 1.8 million leisure agriculture operating entities of various types nationwide, receiving 900 million tourist visits annually, with operating revenue of 270 billion yuan, radiating and driving 29 million farmers to increase their income.
