On October 23, 2014, the "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 23 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 198.95, down 0.29 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 199.57, down 0.31 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 19.50 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 171.70), down 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 54.51 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton 55.00 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.54 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

White-striped chicken 15.59 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.46 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 178.18), down 0.6% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.52 yuan/kg, up 1.1% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.58 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.10 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.88 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday;

Large hairtail 27.66 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products monitored at domestic wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: Fuji apples, Ya pears, shiitake mushrooms, Kyoho grapes and crucian carp, with increases of 2.8%, 2.4%, 2.3%, 2.2% and 1.7% respectively; the top five price decreases were: oyster mushrooms, celtuce, spinach, winter melon and pineapple, with decreases of 4.5%, 4.1%, 3.6%, 3.4% and 3.1% respectively.
