2014 Agricultural Informatization Special Exhibition and Summit Forum Held Concurrently
The 2014 Agricultural Informatization Special Exhibition and Agricultural Informatization Summit Forum, with the theme of "Informatization and Modern Agriculture," will be grandly held in Qingdao from October 25 to 28. This special exhibition and summit forum is currently the highest-level and most distinctive national exhibition in the field of agricultural informatization.
This special exhibition and forum is a high-level event under the overall framework of the 12th China International Agricultural Trade Fair. The total exhibition area is 4000 sq m, including a comprehensive achievements exhibition area, a special decoration exhibition area, and a standard exhibition area. It mainly displays technologies and solutions in smart agriculture, agricultural product e-commerce, agricultural information services, and innovative application of information technology. A total of 111 units from 24 provinces (regions and municipalities) are participating in the exhibition.
During the exhibition, an Agricultural Informatization Summit Forum will be held. With the purpose of "promoting the comprehensive integration of informatization and agricultural modernization," the forum will have one main venue and three sub-venues. The forum themes are: Informatization and Modern Agriculture, E-commerce Promoting Farmers' Connection to the Large Market, Agricultural Internet of Things and Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Traceability, and Agricultural Cloud Computing and Big Data Innovating New Models of Government Services. At that time, more than 40 leaders, experts from relevant central departments, relevant scientific research and teaching institutions, and enterprises will deliver keynote speeches at the forum, authoritatively interpret national policies, look ahead to the development prospects of agricultural informatization, explore new technologies of agricultural informatization at home and abroad, and promote mature solutions for agricultural informatization. In addition, relevant research institutes, telecom operators, and agricultural informatization solution providers will also bring the latest agricultural informatization achievements and use the platform of the special exhibition and forum to carry out technical negotiations and product transactions.
