Genetically Modified Cotton Seed Production Licenses Issued, 22 Seed Companies Approved by the Ministry of Agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture announced the list of enterprises in the 43rd batch of the "Crop Seed Business License" and the list of enterprises in the 33rd batch of the "Genetically Modified Cotton Seed Production License". In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations including the "Seed Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Regulations on the Safety Administration of Agricultural Genetically Modified Organisms", the "Regulations on the Protection of New Varieties of Plants", the "Measures for the Administration of Crop Seed Production and Business Licensing", and the "Provisions on the Administration of Genetically Modified Cotton Seed Production and Business Licensing", approval was granted to issue the "Crop Seed Business License" to 41 enterprises including Shanxi Luyu Seed Industry Co., Ltd., Henan Huafeng Seed Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Dahua Seed Group Co., Ltd., and approval was granted to issue the "Genetically Modified Cotton Seed Production License" to 22 enterprises including Hebei Defu Agriculture Co., Ltd. and Hefei Fengle Seed Co., Ltd.
