On October 29, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 29 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 196.30, down 0.27 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 196.12, down 0.51 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 19.53 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 170.15), up 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef 54.46 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday;

Mutton 54.97 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.49 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.41 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.33 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 166.32), down 0.7% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.50 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.05 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.08 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.20 yuan/kg, up 1.8% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.54 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products under key monitoring in the domestic wholesale market, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: pumpkin, winter melon, silver carp, Kyoho grape and lotus root, with increases of 2.7%, 2.1%, 1.8%, 1.8% and 1.7% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cauliflower, white radish, lettuce, spinach and Chinese cabbage, with decreases of 2.6%, 2.5%, 2.4%, 2.3% and 2.2% respectively.
