On October 28, 2014, the "National Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on October 28 the “National Agricultural Product Wholesale Price Index” was 196.57, up 0.08 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 196.63, up 0.12 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 19.51 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 170.66), down 0.4% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.72 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Mutton was 55.22 yuan/kg, basically flat compared with yesterday;

Eggs were 10.50 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 15.41 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.35 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 167.87), up 0.6% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 5.45 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.93 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday;

Common carp was 12.06 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.07 yuan/kg, up 2.6% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.79 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties monitored in the domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale market, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: watermelon, cauliflower, yardlong bean, white radish and green pepper, with increases of 6.1%, 5.1%, 3.4%, 3.4% and 3.3% respectively; the top five price decreases were: rapeseed, pumpkin, winter melon, lettuce and celery, with decreases of 4.0%, 3.2%, 2.3%, 2.3% and 1.8% respectively.
