First batch of China's overseas self-produced soybeans successfully shipped back to China
Recently, it was learned from the Heilongjiang Province Agricultural Industry Association for Russia that, with strong support from customs, inspection and quarantine and other departments, the first batch of Russian imported soybeans from the largest China-Russia agricultural cooperation project - the China-Russia (Primorsky Krai) Modern Agricultural Industry Cooperation Zone - entered the country via the Suifenhe railway, which means that the project's shipment of overseas self-produced grain back to China has officially begun.
According to conservative estimates, this year the soybean yield per hectare in the cooperation zone will reach 2 tons, setting a new record for China's grain output in Russia,
According to the relevant person in charge of the Heilongjiang Province Agricultural Industry Association for Russia, as of now, the China-Russia Modern Agricultural Industry Cooperation Zone has 68,000 hectares of cultivated land, with 14 planting areas as well as multiple grain processing, storage and processing parks. The yields per unit area of main crops such as soybeans and corn have ranked first in Russia's Primorsky Krai for consecutive years. The person in charge introduced that, according to conservative estimates, this year the soybean yield per hectare in the cooperation zone will reach 2 tons, setting a new record for China's grain output in Russia, and it is expected that 80,000 tons of soybeans will be shipped back this year.
