China's various agricultural industrialization organizations have reached 330,000
From October 31 to November 2, the training class for heads of national key leading enterprises, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, was held in Wuhan, Hubei. Thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third and Fourth Plenary Sessions of the 18th CPC Central Committee, implement the State Council's opinions on supporting the development of leading enterprises, analyze the development situation of agricultural industrialization, and discuss ideas and measures for advancing leading enterprises' accelerated transformation and upgrading, building a new type of agricultural operation system, and promoting the development of modern agriculture. Vice Minister of Agriculture Chen Xiaohua attended the training class and delivered a speech.
Chen Xiaohua pointed out that in recent years agricultural industrialization has developed steadily and healthily. At present, there are 330,000 various agricultural industrialization organizations, including more than 120,000 leading enterprises, with annual sales revenue of 7.9 trillion yuan; they radiate and drive 120 million rural households, and households participating in industrialized operations have an average annual income increase of more than 3,000 yuan per household. The effects of ensuring supply and bringing employment and income increases to farmers have continued to emerge, playing an important role in stabilizing growth and benefiting people's livelihood.
Chen Xiaohua emphasized that leading enterprises are the backbone force in building a new type of agricultural operation system. Leading enterprises have advantages in capital, technology, management, and so on, and are representatives of advanced productive forces and the most dynamic entities in the new type of agricultural operation system; guiding rural households to expand the scale of operations and improve their degree of organization makes them incubators for cultivating family farms and farmers' cooperatives; actively extending the industrial chain upstream and downstream, promoting industrial value-added and sharing income together with all participating entities, makes them the core of the industrial chain and the benefit chain.
Chen Xiaohua required that leading enterprises seize opportunities, accelerate transformation and upgrading, and play a greater role under the new situation. They should clearly define their own functional positioning, focus on production management and business model innovation, improve interest linkage mechanisms with rural households, family farms, farmers' cooperatives, and others, achieve shared interests, and move forward hand in hand.
Leaders and experts from relevant units such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Bank of China, the State Administration of Taxation, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission gave specialized lectures. Responsible comrades from the competent departments of agricultural industrialization in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and heads of more than 170 national key leading enterprises participated in the training.
