On November 5, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on November 5 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 194.63, down 0.54 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 194.28, down 0.65 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 19.38 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 169.77), down 0.5% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.36 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday;

Mutton was 54.38 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday;

Eggs were 10.42 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 15.35 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.27 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 163.62), down 1.2% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.55 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.20 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday;

Common carp was 11.85 yuan/kg, down 2.0% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 6.93 yuan/kg, down 3.2% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.14 yuan/kg, down 3.1% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties key monitored at domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: oyster mushroom, cucumber, watermelon, zucchini and pineapple, with increases of 3.8%, 3.0%, 2.8%, 1.9% and 1.8% respectively; the top five price decreases were: ginger, lettuce, white radish, silver carp and largehead hairtail, with decreases of 5.1%, 3.4%, 3.4%, 3.2% and 3.1% respectively.
