China plans to support prices of key grains to raise farmers' grain-growing income

According to the website of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission recently revised and improved the "Grain Law (Draft for Review)" that was publicly solicited for comments in February 2012, and is now publicly soliciting comments on the revised "Grain Law (Draft for Review)". The draft for review stipulates that the state shall establish and improve a grain production subsidy and reward system, implement a price support system for key grain varieties, gradually establish a grain target price system, improve the grain price formation mechanism, and steadily increase farmers' grain-growing income.
