National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index rises and falls on November 27, 2014

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on November 27 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 198.10, up 0.90 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 198.47, up 0.97 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 19.32 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 169.30), up 0.7% from yesterday;

Beef 54.43 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton 54.18 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.22 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.00 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.50 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 178.21), up 0.3% from yesterday;

⟦NL> The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 5.27 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.84 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.09 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.85 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.42 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties mainly monitored in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: Chinese chives, zucchini, oranges, cabbage and Kyoho grapes, with increases of 4.0%, 3.6%, 3.4%, 3.0% and 2.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, ginger, Chinese cabbage, pineapple and rapeseed (yu choy), with decreases of 3.6%, 2.8%, 2.3%, 2.3% and 1.7% respectively.
