Wang Ling, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, stressed at the meeting that the state farm system should give full play to its resource advantages and, on the premise of ensuring the quantity and quality safety of grain, develop the secondary and tertiary industries, achieve the goal of “strong state farms, prosperous farm workers, beautiful farms”, and play the role of the national team in building a strong agricultural province.

After listening to introductions on the secondary and tertiary industries of state-owned farms such as Shashi Farm and Longganhu Farm, Wang Ling pointed out that in recent years, people on state farms have actively explored new paths for the reform and development of the secondary and tertiary industries, promoting increased farm efficiency and higher incomes for farm workers. The cause of state farms is full of vitality and has become a highlight of the province's “three rural” work.

Wang Ling said that the central government attaches great importance to the reform and development of state farms, and the cause of state farms has entered a new round of strategic opportunity with great prospects.
