What are the key design points for a retractable shade net
About the design of retractable shade nets
The design can be considered from the following options:
1. Install an electric remote-controlled curtain, using shade netting in place of the curtain fabric; this is the most advanced option.
2. Install an ordinary manual curtain, with a manual pull cord in one place to open or close it, using shade netting in place of the curtain.
3. Use the lifting mechanism of a lift-type clothes drying rack, with the lifting crank handle installed in a convenient position, and use the device's steel cable to control the opening and closing of the shade net; the pulleys at the turns are all matched, and the modification needed is to add a rigid rod on the moving side of the shade net to secure the control cable; the cable must be fixed to both ends of the rod, and slide grooves must be added at both ends in the direction the rod moves; this is semi-automated.
4. A crude method: fix one side of the shade net, install a rigid rod on the other side, run several steel wires along the opening and closing direction, place the shade net on top of the steel wires, and use a pole to manually prop open and close the moving rigid rod; it is economical and easy to install, and you can also install pull cords at both ends of the moving rod and use pulleys for the turns.
For the above shade nets, if the width is broad, you must thread a ring every 30 cm on both sides, with one side threaded onto the edge of the shade net, and all the rings fitted onto a fixed steel wire run along the opening and closing direction, so that when pulled closed the net does not collapse but folds up.
