On December 2, 2014, the "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 2 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 199.36, up 0.23 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 200.05, up 0.25 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 19.27 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 169.47), up 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 54.21 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday;

Mutton 53.97 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 10.20 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.98 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.61 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 185.05), up 2.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.38 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 14.19 yuan/kg, up 2.8% from yesterday;

Common carp 11.98 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.93 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 28.28 yuan/kg, up 2.8% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: cucumber, pumpkin, zucchini, spinach and cauliflower, with margins of 6.0%, 5.6%, 5.1%, 4.1% and 3.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pineapple, bighead carp, celery, ginger and silver carp, with margins of 4.8%, 2.7%, 1.0%, 0.4% and 0.3% respectively.
