In 2015, corn seed inventory was about 800 million kg

Recently, the Seed Management Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture announced that this year's domestic hybrid corn seed production area was 2.95 million mu, producing about 1.01 billion kg of seed; adding effective inventory of about 1 billion kg, next year's corn seed supply will be about 2.01 billion kg, while actual seed demand will be about 1.2 billion kg, and next year's corn seed inventory will be about 800 million kg.

This year's hybrid rice seed production area was 1.4 million mu, producing about 230 million kg of seed;

Although this year's annual seed production was less than annual seed demand for the first time in nearly 10 years, due to the large backlog, the total volume is still in oversupply.
