On December 15, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 15 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 204.22, up 0.79 points from last Friday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 205.92, up 0.81 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 19.09 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 169.17), down 0.6% from last Friday;

Beef was 54.47 yuan/kg, basically flat with last Friday;

Mutton was 54.30 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from last Friday;

Eggs were 10.06 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday;

Dressed chicken was 15.06 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.87 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 201.75), up 2.4% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.41 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.85 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday;

Common carp was 11.88 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from last Friday;

Silver carp was 6.99 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail was 28.48 yuan/kg, up 2.2% from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in the domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale market, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: celtuce, spinach, yardlong bean, lettuce and celery, with increases of 8.4%, 6.8%, 6.7%, 5.9% and 5.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: ginger, ya pear, bighead carp, pork and silver carp, with decreases of 2.1%, 1.1%, 0.7%, 0.6% and 0.6% respectively.
