How to prevent and control H7N9 flu? The Ministry of Agriculture organizes supervision inspections
Currently, it is the peak season for H7N9 flu, and prevention and control efforts nationwide have entered a critical period. To further strengthen H7N9 prevention and control work, in accordance with the arrangements of the national video conference on animal H7N9 flu prevention and control, the Ministry of Agriculture will recently dispatch designated liaison working groups to key provinces to carry out centralized supervision of H7N9 prevention and control work, urging all localities to effectively implement all prevention and control measures.
During the supervision period, each working group will comprehensively inspect the progress of H7N9 prevention and control work in all localities through various forms such as listening to reports, holding symposia, and on-site inspections. The inspection will focus on 6 aspects: First, the progress of the H7N9 elimination action, inspecting the local formulation and implementation of the province's elimination plan, coordination and implementation of working funds, and so on. Second, the progress of monitoring and epidemiological investigation work, inspecting local monitoring and elimination, epidemiological investigation, source purification, and so on. Third, the progress of responding to new cases, inspecting local monitoring and screening work, implementation of epidemic prevention and supervision measures at live poultry markets, and so on. Fourth, departmental collaboration, inspecting local coordination between animal husbandry and veterinary departments and relevant departments, information communication and coordinated measures, and so on. Fifth, publicity and information release work, inspecting local H7N9 prevention and control information release, prevention and control publicity work, and so on. Sixth, ensuring the stable development of the poultry industry, inspecting local efforts to promote the implementation of supportive policies for poultry industry development, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the poultry industry, and strengthen technical guidance and services for poultry farming.
