On December 19, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 19 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 205.50, up 0.68 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 207.53, up 0.96 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at wholesale markets nationwide for agricultural products was 19.03 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 168.90), down 0.2% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.40 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton was 54.32 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs were 9.88 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 15.05 yuan/kg, up 1.0% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.92 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 209.71), up 0.5% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.47 yuan/kg, flat compared with yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.43 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from yesterday;

Common carp was 11.76 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 6.96 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.21 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at wholesale markets for fresh and live agricultural products nationwide, compared with yesterday the top five price increases were: cauliflower, celtuce, eggplant, celery and Kyoho grapes, with increases of 3.7%, 3.5%, 3.4%, 2.5% and 2.1% respectively; the top five price decreases were: ginger, crucian carp, scallion, pineapple and silver carp, with decreases of 3.1%, 1.9%, 1.9%, 1.8% and 1.4% respectively.
