On December 29, 2014, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on December 29 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 207.22, down 0.95 points from last Friday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 209.56, down 1.02 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at the national agricultural products wholesale market was 19.08 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 167.99), down 0.1% from last Friday;

Beef was 54.43 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from last Friday;

Mutton was 53.55 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday;

Eggs were 9.70 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken was 15.04 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.94 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 213.69), down 0.3% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.49 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.64 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday;

Common carp was 11.89 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from last Friday;

Silver carp was 7.04 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.54 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties of fresh and live agricultural products under key monitoring at the domestic wholesale market, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: winter melon, cabbage, celtuce, spinach and green pepper, with increases of 5.2%, 4.7%, 4.6%, 3.1% and 3.1% respectively; the top five price decreases were: Chinese chives, zucchini, cucumber, oyster mushroom and pineapple, with decreases of 6.1%, 5.1%, 5.1%, 3.5% and 3.1% respectively.
