Industrialization of scientific and technological achievements in agricultural product processing is being accelerated
In recent years, China's agricultural product processing industry has developed rapidly, shifting from a stage of quantitative growth to a stage of quality improvement, and has become a foundational, strategic and pillar industry of the national economy. However, compared with developed countries, China's agricultural product processing industry still faces problems such as relatively weak independent innovation capacity, insufficient integration among all links of industry-university-research-extension-application, and a relatively low conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements. There is an urgent need to integrate scientific and technological resources, build platforms for matching science with enterprises, implement the strategy of innovation-driven development, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the agricultural product processing industry.
Implementing innovation-driven development in agricultural product processing is the decisive force for enhancing industrial competitiveness, the inevitable choice for promoting industrial transformation and development, the basic support for ensuring food security and effective supply, and an effective channel for promoting agricultural efficiency and increasing farmers' incomes.
