Comparison of the National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index on January 19, 2015 with Last Week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, the "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" on January 19 was 203.70, down 0.55 points from last Friday, of which the "Vegetable Basket" Product Wholesale Price Index was 205.21, down 0.66 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural wholesale market was 18.62 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 166.67), down 0.2% from last Friday;

Beef 54.49 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from last Friday;

Mutton 53.37 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from last Friday;

Eggs 9.20 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 15.05 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.90 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 209.63), up 0.3% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.62 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.59 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from last Friday;

Common carp 11.75 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from last Friday;

Silver carp 6.95 yuan/kg, down 2.1% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail 28.06 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale market under key monitoring, compared with last Friday, the top five price increases were: eggplant, watermelon, Welsh onion, green pepper and tomato, with increases of 3.9%, 2.8%, 2.7%, 2.6% and 2.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cauliflower, rapeseed, pineapple, Chinese chives and lettuce, with decreases of 5.2%, 3.8%, 3.0%, 2.8% and 2.8% respectively.
