Among this, the national total grain output last year reached 607.10 million tons, an increase of 5.16 million tons over the previous year, up 0.9%.

The data show that the agricultural production situation last year was relatively good. Among this, summer grain output was 136.60 million tons, up 3.6%; early rice output was 34.01 million tons, down 0.4%; autumn grain output was 436.49 million tons, up 0.1%. Cereal output was 557.27 million tons, up 0.8% over the previous year.

The annual cotton output was 6.16 million tons, down 2.2% over the previous year. The annual output of pork, beef, mutton and poultry was 85.40 million tons, up 2.0% over the previous year, of which pork output was 56.71 million tons, up 3.2%. The annual output of eggs was 28.94 million tons, up 0.6% over the previous year; milk output was 37.25 million tons, up 5.5%.
