1. It is recommended to use small-grade Xiantu (orchid soil) plus a little medium-grain plant gold stone; it can also be planted appropriately deeper, or covered with a small amount of sphagnum moss on top. Just grow it plainly (with minimal fertilization), and use a small pot. Do not use large-grade potting medium, because its own absorption capacity is weak and it easily dries out and dies. If what I say is not right, please let other experts give advice.

2. Wrap the roots and the pseudobulb (lu tou) of the flower with sphagnum moss, then plant it in large chunks of orchid stone. Do not water too heavily. At a temperature of around 20 degrees, new roots will grow in 15 days.

3. Washed river sand that has been scalded with boiling water is best for ensuring new roots grow. River sand is relatively cool and not prone to problems in summer. Water with 1/2000 root-promoting solution once a month, and do not use any other fertilizer.
