More Winter-Spring Disaster Relief Funds Allocated, Central Finance Arranges 1.42 Billion Yuan

On January 27, the central finance allocated the second batch of central winter-spring disaster relief funds for 2014-2015, amounting to 1.42 billion yuan, to further help all localities properly resolve the difficulties faced by disaster-affected people in meeting basic living needs such as food, clothing, and heating, and to ensure they get through the winter safely and spend the holiday warmly. At the end of 2014, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Civil Affairs agreed to arrange 7.1 billion yuan in central winter-spring disaster relief funds for 2014-2015, and on December 29, 2014, allocated the first batch of funds totaling 5.68 billion yuan. At this point, the 7.1 billion yuan in central winter-spring disaster relief funds for 2014-2015 has been fully allocated.
