February 6, 2015 "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on February 6 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 208.18, up 0.53 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 210.71, up 0.74 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at the national agricultural wholesale market was 18.20 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 164.41), down 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 54.62 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton 52.39 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 9.07 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.15 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.21 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 223.45), unchanged from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 5.98 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.50 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Common carp 11.63 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday;

Silver carp 7.10 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.92 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at the domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: Ya pear, watermelon, cabbage, ginger and Chinese cabbage, with increases of 5.3%, 2.7%, 2.2%, 1.8% and 1.8% respectively; the top five price decreases were: pineapple, lettuce, Welsh onion, oyster mushroom and common carp, with decreases of 2.1%, 2.0%, 1.6%, 1.5% and 1.4% respectively.
