On February 25, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with before the holiday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on February 25 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 214.32, down 1.97 points from before the holiday (February 17, the same below), among which the “vegetable basket” product wholesale price index was 217.89, down 2.43 points from before the holiday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 18.39 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 164.00), up 1.6% from before the holiday;

Beef 54.14 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from before the holiday;

Mutton 53.85 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from before the holiday;

Eggs 8.89 yuan/kg, down 2.9% from before the holiday;

Dressed chicken 15.54 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from before the holiday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.63 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 245.86), down 1.3% from before the holiday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.30 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from before the holiday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.61 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from before the holiday;

Common carp 12.27 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from before the holiday;

Silver carp 6.89 yuan/kg, down 2.4% from before the holiday;

Largehead hairtail 28.76 yuan/kg, up 1.0% from before the holiday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five by price increase compared with before the holiday were: pumpkin, lotus root, Chinese cabbage, ya pear and carrot, with increases of 13.6%, 9.4%, 9.1%, 8.8% and 6.3% respectively; the top five by price decrease were: pineapple, zucchini, cucumber, rapeseed and Chinese chives, with decreases of 15.9%, 14.6%, 12.3%, 10.1% and 9.7% respectively.
