National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index change on March 4, 2015 compared with the previous day

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on March 4 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 210.53, down 1.04 points from yesterday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 213.28, down 1.23 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 17.98 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 161.71), down 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.63 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton was 53.05 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Eggs were 8.70 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 15.80 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 4.31 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 226.79), down 0.2% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.53 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.73 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from yesterday;

Common carp was 12.73 yuan/kg, up 2.5% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 7.09 yuan/kg, up 2.2% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.33 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 key monitored varieties at domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: pumpkin, Fuji apple, common carp, Ya pear and silver carp, with increases of 3.3%, 2.9%, 2.5%, 2.4% and 2.2% respectively; the top five price decreases were: lettuce, cabbage, celtuce, Kyoho grape and tomato, with decreases of 3.3%, 3.2%, 2.3%, 2.1% and 2.0% respectively.
