On March 3, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on March 3 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 211.57, up 0.37 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” product wholesale price index was 214.51, up 0.49 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 17.99 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 162.25), up 0.1% from yesterday;

Beef was 54.55 yuan/kg, basically flat from yesterday;

Mutton was 53.24 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs were 8.80 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken was 15.74 yuan/kg, up 0.8% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.32 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 230.05), down 1.1% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.48 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.82 yuan/kg, up 3.2% from yesterday;

Common carp was 12.42 yuan/kg, down 1.5% from yesterday;

Silver carp was 6.94 yuan/kg, down 3.7% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail was 27.45 yuan/kg, down 2.1% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: pumpkin, crucian carp, carrot, Kyoho grape and banana, with increases of 6.2%, 3.2%, 3.0%, 3.0% and 2.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: eggplant, rapeseed, spinach, silver carp and green pepper, with decreases of 5.3%, 4.2%, 4.1%, 3.7% and 3.6% respectively.
