On March 16, 2015, the "National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index" compared with last week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on March 16 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 204.24, down 0.73 points from last Friday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 205.84, down 0.82 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural products wholesale markets was 17.53 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 156.28), up 0.2% from last Friday;

Beef 54.33 yuan/kg, basically flat compared with last Friday;

Mutton 53.37 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from last Friday;

Eggs 8.29 yuan/kg, down 0.7% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 15.46 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 4.01 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 213.59), down 1.0% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.25 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.98 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from last Friday;

Common carp 12.69 yuan/kg, flat compared with last Friday;

Silver carp 7.30 yuan/kg, up 2.5% from last Friday;

Large hairtail 27.87 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties monitored in key domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale markets, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: Chinese cabbage, Ya pear, silver carp, pumpkin and celtuce, with increases of 2.8%, 2.6%, 2.5%, 2.5% and 2.4% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cucumber, oyster mushroom, lettuce, carrot and green pepper, with decreases of 6.5%, 5.4%, 4.6%, 4.4% and 4.1% respectively.
