March 25, 2015 "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on March 25 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 202.78, up 0.15 points from yesterday, among which the “Vegetable Basket” Product Wholesale Price Index was 204.21, up 0.25 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.02 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 155.28), up 0.2% from yesterday;

Beef 54.19 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Mutton 52.48 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.98 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.19 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.87 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 208.22), unchanged from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.10 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.59 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday;

Common carp 12.65 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.90 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.86 yuan/kg, basically unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring at domestic fresh and live agricultural wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: tangerines, Chinese cabbage, carrots, pineapples and Chinese chives, with increases of 4.3%, 3.8%, 2.5%, 2.0% and 1.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: long beans, bananas, zucchini, winter melon and silver carp, with decreases of 2.7%, 2.5%, 2.0%, 1.9% and 1.7% respectively.
