Pepper industry welcomes China's first technology innovation strategic alliance
Recently, China's first pepper industry technology innovation strategic alliance was established in Beijing. The alliance is a community of shared interests voluntarily formed by 28 enterprise or institutional members engaged in related fields such as pepper variety breeding, cultivation, processing, distribution and application, to carry out joint research and development, complement each other's strengths, share benefits and bear risks together.
"As a vehicle for integrating industry, academia and research, the establishment of the alliance can enable joint efforts to tackle key problems and solve the 'bottleneck' issues in industrial development," said Wang Zhe, inspector of the Rural Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Establishing a strategic alliance not only gives full play to advantages and solves major technical problems, but also better adapts to market requirements in variety research and development and industrial standard setting, achieving a win-win situation across the industrial chain. It is reported that the alliance was initiated and established by Chenguang Biotech Group Co., Ltd. of Quzhou County, Hebei. Institutions such as China Agricultural University will play a role in building a resource-sharing platform for technology innovation and establishing technology transfer and feedback mechanisms, accelerating the development of deep-processing technology for peppers through joint efforts and promoting the comprehensive upgrading of the industry.
