Agricultural machinery and equipment ranks among the ten major sectors of Made in China 2025

Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council chaired an executive meeting of the State Council on March 25 to deploy and accelerate the implementation of "Made in China 2025" and achieve the upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

The meeting pointed out that China is in the process of accelerating industrialization, and manufacturing is an important pillar and foundation of the national economy. Implementing the "Made in China 2025" deployed in this year's government work report is of great significance for promoting China's manufacturing to grow from large to strong, enabling China's manufacturing to contain more factors of Chinese creation, relying more on Chinese equipment and Chinese brands, and promoting the economy to maintain medium-to-high-speed growth and move toward the medium-to-high-end level. The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to comply with the development trend of "Internet Plus", take the deep integration of informatization and industrialization as the main line, and focus on developing the 10 major sectors of a new generation of information technology, high-grade CNC machine tools and robots, aerospace equipment, marine engineering equipment and high-tech ships, advanced rail transit equipment, energy-saving and new energy vehicles, electric power equipment, new materials, biomedicine and high-performance medical devices, and agricultural machinery and equipment, strengthen industrial foundation capabilities, improve process levels and product quality, and advance intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing. Promote the integrated development of producer services and manufacturing, and enhance the level and core competitiveness of manufacturing.

The meeting decided to launch a green paper catalog guide for the upgrading directions of key areas of Made in China, with dynamic adjustment and rolling advancement. Adhere to market leadership, reform and innovation, give play to the main role of enterprises, promote the coordinated advancement of large, medium and small enterprises, seek key breakthroughs and achieve practical results, and policies on fiscal and taxation, finance, and talent must all be tilted in support. Through unremitting efforts and struggle, create an upgraded version of China's manufacturing industry.
