International Protected Agriculture Expo Advocates Water-Saving Agriculture

From March 31 to April 2, the 3rd China (Beijing) International Protected Agriculture and International Irrigation Technology Exhibition was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. With the theme "Advocating Scientific Energy-Saving Irrigation, Advancing High-Efficiency Protected Agriculture," the expo focused on showcasing new technologies and innovative products in fields such as water-saving irrigation and information-based agriculture. Numerous well-known companies from 22 countries and regions, including Valmont Industries of the United States, OTL of Israel and Dayu Water-Saving, presented their most advanced irrigation technologies and products.

It is understood that the expo added an agricultural IoT information exhibition area concurrently, bringing together a number of IoT companies to jointly discuss China's new IoT technologies, demonstrate scientific supporting methods of use, and hold a "Protected Horticulture Industry Development Summit" to jointly advance the development of precision, high-efficiency and information-based technology-driven protected agriculture.

Experts at the event said that to further advance China's agricultural modernization, support from information technology must be introduced. At the same time, high-efficiency water-saving irrigation equipment and "integrated water, pesticide and fertilizer" technology urgently need to keep pace, so as to better support the development of water-saving agriculture in China.
