April 7, 2015 National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index Week-on-Week

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on April 7 the “National Agricultural Products Wholesale Price Index” was 202.48, up 0.07 points from last Friday, of which the “Vegetable Basket” Products Wholesale Price Index was 203.62, up 0.13 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at wholesale markets for agricultural products nationwide was 17.48 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 159.05), up 0.1% from last Friday;

Beef 54.22 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday;

Mutton 52.19 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from last Friday;

Eggs 7.69 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken 15.15 yuan/kg, up 1.7% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 3.93 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 208.89), up 3.7% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.06 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.68 yuan/kg, up 2.5% from last Friday;

Common carp 13.09 yuan/kg, up 1.2% from last Friday;

Silver carp 7.05 yuan/kg, up 3.1% from last Friday;

Largehead hairtail 27.76 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the key monitoring of domestic fresh and live agricultural products wholesale markets, compared with last Friday the top five price increases were: oyster mushroom, cucumber, Welsh onion, celery and yardlong bean, with increases of 9.7%, 8.0%, 6.0%, 5.9% and 5.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: onion, Ya pear, pineapple, carrot and eggs, with decreases of 2.4%, 2.3%, 1.6%, 1.6% and 1.2% respectively.
