April 22, 2015 "National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on April 22 the “National Agricultural Wholesale Price Index” was 204.52, down 0.34 points from yesterday, among which the “Basket of Vegetables” Product Wholesale Price Index was 206.04, down 0.49 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural wholesale markets was 17.79 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 155.77), down 0.9% from yesterday;

Beef 53.90 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Mutton 50.49 yuan/kg, down 1.2% from yesterday;

Eggs 7.58 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 15.16 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.96 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 221.43), down 1.2% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.21 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.61 yuan/kg, down 1.8% from yesterday;

Common carp 13.12 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.98 yuan/kg, down 1.7% from yesterday;

Largehead hairtail 27.76 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: pineapple, Kyoho grape, white radish, winter melon and dressed chicken, with increases of 4.5%, 3.3%, 1.4%, 1.4% and 0.9% respectively; the top five price decreases were: watermelon, mandarin orange, cabbage, scallion and spinach, with decreases of 6.2%, 4.8%, 4.2%, 3.9% and 3.8% respectively.
