Week-on-week change of the national agricultural products wholesale price index on April 27, 2015

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on April 27 the “national agricultural products wholesale price index” was 203.09, down 0.77 points from last Friday, of which the “shopping basket” products wholesale price index was 204.24, down 0.91 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 18.27 yuan/kg (the pork wholesale price index was 159.98), up 1.3% from last Friday;

Beef was 54.07 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday;

Mutton was 50.58 yuan/kg, down 0.4% from last Friday;

Eggs were 7.56 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday;

Dressed chicken was 14.99 yuan/kg, down 0.6% from last Friday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.80 yuan/kg (the vegetable wholesale price index was 212.30), down 1.7% from last Friday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.27 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from last Friday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.63 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday;

Common carp was 13.19 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from last Friday;

Silver carp was 6.92 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from last Friday;

Large hairtail was 27.75 yuan/kg, basically flat compared with last Friday.

Today, among the 60 varieties in the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market under key monitoring, compared with last Friday, the top five price increases were: white radish, ya pear, carrot, lotus root and ginger, with increases of 2.0%, 1.9%, 1.6%, 1.5% and 1.5% respectively; the top five price decreases were: cauliflower, eggplant, cabbage, spinach and lettuce, with decreases of 7.0%, 5.8%, 5.7%, 5.5% and 5.3% respectively.
