On May 14, 2015, the "National Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" compared with yesterday

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture, on May 14 the “National Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products” was 199.03, up 0.04 points from yesterday, of which the “Basket” product wholesale price index was 199.47, up 0.08 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in national agricultural products wholesale markets was 18.72 yuan/kg (pork wholesale price index 162.69), down 0.3% from yesterday;

Beef 53.95 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday;

Mutton 49.70 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday;

Eggs 7.45 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday;

Dressed chicken 14.61 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday.

The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 3.42 yuan/kg (vegetable wholesale price index 193.82), up 0.3% from yesterday;

The average price of the 7 key monitored fruits was 6.55 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday.

The average price of crucian carp was 13.83 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday;

Common carp 13.19 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from yesterday;

Silver carp 6.97 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday;

Large hairtail 27.50 yuan/kg, down 1.0% from yesterday.

Today, among the 60 varieties under key monitoring in domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale markets, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were: shiitake mushrooms, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, cauliflower and long beans, with increases of 3.7%, 2.9%, 2.5%, 1.8% and 1.6% respectively; the top five price decreases were: winter melon, celtuce, rapeseed, spinach and green peppers, with decreases of 2.9%, 2.7%, 2.5%, 2.4% and 2.4% respectively.
